Home at Last Studio - the creative space for artist, T. Fry- Green
I have pursued a professional interest in the arts for the last three decades. As owner/designer of a decorative art business for numerous years, I enjoyed working with clients both in their homes, and through commissioned studio work.
My husband and I have recently purchased a 120 year old commercial building in our hometown. We are excited to be returning home, and to small town living. After the renovations are finished the building will house my studio, a small informal gallery, and a quaint decor retail store. I look forward to sharing my perspective of the world around me through my art.
My current work is in a fairly realistic style. However, I find myself creating playful and whimsical pieces more often these days. I love to paint the ordinary, often over looked items -flea market finds, bakery items, found objects. I find inspiration daily in this more rural setting - old buildings, wonderful landscapes, animals, working farms, and community events.
I enjoy the freedom acrylic paints offers me and I paint from life as much as possible. Most days you will find me at the easel, in my studio, overlooking my small town square.
I hope to give both new and established collectors an affordable way to purchase an original artwork by sharing on several online sites and as well as directly through my studio (Home at Last Studio).
